    Contributors are encouraged to augment their presentation with live demonstrations of their software or database, for example, and their utility.

    Submitted abstracts will be reviewed on the basis of merit of contents corresponding to the theme of the symposium for oral or poster presentation. Acceptance will be communicated before 31st July 1998.

    GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT

    The following standard format is required :

    Please submit the original plus three (3 copies) of the abstract and also a high density 1.44 MB (3.5" floppy) disk in IBM (or IBM Compatible) format containing the abstract in Microsoft Word.

    ORAL PRESENTATION

    Authors of the selected papers of outstanding quality and content will be called for oral presentation. Each presenter will be given 10 minutes followed by discussion for 5 minutes. Authors are encouraged to augment their presentation with live demonstrations of their software or databases, for example, and their utility.

    Apart from Slide Projector and Over Head Projector (OHP), Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) projector too is available for presentation. LCD can easily be interfaced with VCR, VHP and IBM compatible PC. Personal Computer with win95 and PowerPoint presentation suite interconnected to LCD will be made available for presentation. Live Internet demo during presentation is also possible.

    POSTER PRESENTATION

    The Poster aim is to present titles, objectives, materials and methods summary, results and conclusions in the form of figures, graphs, tables, pictures etc.

    For each poster submission a board size of 1.2 M X 1.2 M will be provided.

    GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

    Size of lettering :

    Size of figures, graphs and tables: Not less than 18X24 cm.

    Contrast:A good contrast between the paper's tone and what is written on it is recommended.
