INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM ON INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN OCEANOGRAPHY (ITO-98)

Objectives of ITO - 98

International Symposium on Information Technology in Oceanography (ITO-98) aims to review applications of Information Technology and identify areas of potential applications.

The ITO - 98 aims to bring Information Managers, Ocean Industry, Scientists, Researchers and Academicians to a common forum where the use of Information Technology in Oceanography is the focus.

The Symposium deals with all aspects of Information Technology applications, Management Information Systems, and Human Resource Management for IT applications in Oceanography.

Its objectives are to assess the requirements of end-users (scientists, researchers, and industry) and to find means of IT to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of ocean industry. The conclusion of the symposium would draw the potentials for IT applications in Oceanography.
